Pedeplei is an improvised electronic music project where Israel Peña explores the real time sound manipulation capabilities of the iPad. Israel’s performances are never planned or rehearsed, the music can be created with contact microphones, wine glasses, cans, iOS virtual synths or all of the above. The resulting music can sound like ambient music or EDM or cumbia or folktronica.
