8 September - Y2K-X PERFORMERS' MISSIVE #1

Hi,

This is the first of many crucial messages for all the performers for the Y2K-X 10th Anniversary International Live Looping Festival from October 13th through October 18th in Santa Cruz, San Jose and San Francisco.

They will be numbered and they will be posted on the www.y2kloopfest.com website if you lose them.

Everyone is responsible for reading all of the missives.

Sooooo,

1stly, I'm so happy and privileged that you will come share your artistry with the public and each other.

This festival is amazing.........even the more so that the artists all subsidize their own performances and travel expenses with out pay. Amazing!!!!! and powerful.

So, now to the business of getting this all coordinated:

1st DO NOT EMAIL ME ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

I promise you that I will send out all the information you need within the next 5 to 10 emails. I am completely inundated with the enormous task of coordinating the 80+ artists coming from 18 countries to perform. Every individual e-mail greatly adds to my unpaid burden..................<weak smile>

I do not have the schedule ready because it's so enormous and because it's been changing on a daily basis for the last three months. I'll try to have it all finished no later than 2 weeks from today.

Viz a vis the schedule, I will giving most night performance slots to the many, many artists who are flying in from as far as 10,000 miles away.

Everyone wants the night slots but the festival is just too enormous this year. Please understand this if you are dissapointed by your performance slot. I'm doing the very best I can.

Important: If you know that you cannot perform on a given day (Main Festival will run Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday day and night) please contact me by writing

subject: Y2K-X: YOUR NAME 'ANY DAY BUT SUNDAY' as an example make sure this in capital letters so my spam filter doesn't accidentally grab it.
