Mark has been looping since 1986. Most often he’s played electric guitar though he does have a cassette somewhere of an extend improv on a cheap electric organ. He was a regular performer at the Santa Cruz Loopfest from 2002 through 2010 while also documenting several of those festivals photographically. He now lives in Seattle with his wife, Michelle, and their two cats. This will be his first live appearance in ten years. The photo dates from Y2KX. He has a lot more gray hair now.
