Rick Walker – Gary Regina – Bill Walker
Rick Walker (who coined the term ‘Live Looping’), founded the group that had the first monthly live looping gig in world history in 1995 for a year long monthly tenure at Mobo Sushi in Santa Cruz, California.
The festival celebrates it’s first official 25 year celebration next year.
Called THIRD WAVE, the group was completely improvisatory and featured three leading members of the World Fusion group, Worlds Collide. Gary, Rick and Bill have all been headliners at the Y2K looping festival and Rick has headlined live looping festivals in 20 countries worldwide since 2003.
